This model was also marketed in US by the Finland House-showroom in New York as part of Concerto-series, which included several lamp models with similar nature inspired design, with decorative mesh leaves and spiral rosette accents.

Paavo Tynell (1890-1973) "The Man Who Illuminated Finland" was a Finnish industrial designer with a specialty in lighting design. He was also co-founder of the art metal work and lighting company Oy Taito Ab and had a successful career as a freelance designer for various companies and architects such as Alvar Aalto and Aarne Ervi. ~ paavotynell.org
