Counter balance ceiling lamp by Finnish lighting designer Lisa Johansson-Pape.

Model designed in 1947

Manufactured by Orno Oy, Finland, late 1940s.

Impressed with manufacturers label ORNO.

Perforated painted aluminium and brass. Newly rewired.

Adjustable height 80 - 120 cm.

Lisa Johansson-Pape was a successful industrial designer during 1940-1960s and is considered as one of the most important Mid-Century Modern lighting designers from Finland among with Paavo Tynell. Johansson-Pape has won a gold medal in Milan Triennale in 1954 and a silver medal in 1951 for her lamp designs.
