This year National Museum of Women in the Arts has teamed up with the Tateto expand the reach of #5WomenArtists as part of Tate’s ongoing commitment to increase the representation of women across the arts sector. The Exchange Int. has joined in the collaboration and campaign during Women's History Month. We hope to bring attention to the fact that women have not been treated equally in the art world, and today they remain dramatically underrepresented and undervalued in museums, galleries, and auction houses.
View our feature 'Women of Design' and the pieces they created including Florence Knoll, Ray Eames, Greta Magnusson-Grossman and Barbro Nilsson for Märta Måås-Fjetterström.
Our commitment to increasing exposure will include posting #5womenartists across our social media during the month of March.
