From the important collection of Dr. Seymour and Mrs. Phyllis Lifschutz, the cabinet is made of walnut with a rare East Indian Laurel top. Beginning in 1956, the Lifschutz’s befriended and commissioned over 50 works from George Nakashima, amassing one of the largest and finest collections over the next 4 decades. It was so large and important to them, home decisions were based on their ability to house and showcase their beloved collection of George Nakashima custom works.
